Stamina and movement questions

Infinite Stamina is stamina drain prevention. The 2K27 build uses a mix profile: a soft clamp at roughly 88% from the first step, so your stamina is preserved while the game still reads your movement as sprinting.

This replaced the old Instant/Gradual split from earlier builds; there is now one behaviour behind a single On/Off switch. yew runs it On.

With Defense Assist On, the right stick mirrors the left stick while you are on defense. The effect is tighter on-ball movement without extra input from you.

It ships On and yew runs it On. Switch it Off on its page if you prefer full manual control of the right stick on defense.

Insta-Stop has three settings: Off, Auto and Left-Trigger. In Auto, the script fires a stop input before shooting off the dribble. In Left-Trigger, it only fires while you hold L2/LT, so you decide shot by shot.

Insta-Stop can cancel fades. If you shoot a lot of fades, use Left-Trigger or Off. yew runs it Off.

Button Rhythm also sweeps about 10% faster on insta-stop and quick-stop shots; that adjustment is automatic.

yew2K has four pages, Dribble Up, Dribble Down, Dribble Left and Dribble Right. Each one assigns a single combo to that D-pad direction. The options per direction are Off, BTB Spam, Curry Slide, Stepback, Size-Up, Escape Cross and Momentum.

Since 2026-08-31 the four directions are separate pages. The old single "Dribble Moves" master toggle was retired, so there is no global switch — set each direction on its own page.

For dribble moves to work as intended, set Pro Stick to Shots and Dribbles in game. yew runs all four directions Off.

Meter Dunk is a hold-to-time dunk meter in the 2K26 style. Set the page to L1 or Circle. While you hold that button, the right stick stays pinned down so the meter fills. Release and the stick snaps to neutral, stopping the meter.

The page also has Off. yew runs it Off.

Spot Take rapid-taps the post-up button while you hold it. The point is to win position battles without mashing the button yourself.

It is an On/Off page in the menu.

No. Auto Tempo (also called Auto Rhythm) adds tempo to right-stick shots only. If you shoot with Square, it does nothing for you, and yew runs it Off.

Button shooters get tempo from Button Rhythm instead. Turn Auto Tempo On only if you shoot with the right stick and want the script to shape those sweeps.
